Daughters & Fathers

My father is coming for a visit tomorrow. I hate that I only get to see him once a year. Both of my parents live way too far away. This is what happens when you grow up and move away from home. Or they grow up and move away from home. I had a great time when I went to visit him in Phoenix last Christmas. We went shopping, checked out Taliesin West and drove around the city spotting different Frank Lloyd Wright buildings. And with every visit to Phoenix, we went to the Biltmore Hotel. Busy, busy weekend ahead of me but I'm looking forward to spending time with dad and showing him around Magnolia. And of course, impressing him with my new house. If only I didn't have to spend tonight cleaning...
